According to statistics from the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Statistics, from January to July, the province’s machinery industry completed a total industrial output value of 212.025 billion yuan, an increase of 29.09% over the same period of the previous year; and sales revenue of 158.692 billion yuan, an increase of 31.41% over the same period of last year.
From January to July, the province's machinery industry realized 10.913 billion yuan in profits and taxes, a year-on-year increase of 26.90%; a profit of 4.99 billion yuan, an increase of 26.01% over the same period of last year; and a production and sales rate of 97.06%, an increase of 0.43% over the same period.
