BMW's sales in China increased by 71% in March
German luxury car manufacturer BMW Motors (abbreviation: BMW) stated on Wednesday that its car sales in China in March increased by 71% year-on-year to 21,687 vehicles, of which core car sales increased by 70% year-on-year to 20, 180 vehicles.
A BMW spokesperson said that the company sold 58,506 vehicles in China in the first quarter, an increase of 71% year-on-year.
Last year, China became the third largest market for BMW, second only to Germany and the United States. In terms of sales volume, BMW is the world’s best-selling premium car manufacturer, followed by Daimler AG’s Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen AG. It's Audi.
