Cast iron gate installation precautions
Cast iron gates are different from cast iron gates of different manufacturers. There are also some different considerations in the installation. In general, the installation of cast iron gates affects its use, so pay special attention to:
1. When the gate is installed, it should be installed in place as a whole. It is prohibited to install the gate frame and the gate plate separately to prevent the deformation of the gate frame.
2. Before the gate is installed, first check whether the bolts at each connecting part are loosened due to transportation and loading. If loose, tighten the bolts.
3. Before the gate leaves the factory, in order to make the gate and the gate frame fit tighter, reduce the gap after installation. The gate with 2 meters or more is installed with the pressboard clip iron on the upper and lower horizontal frames, and the top of the inclined iron is increased wire. Note that after the gap adjustment, remove the top wire from the clip and the oblique iron to open and close the gate.
4. Check whether the water stop surface on the connection between the main frame and the horizontal frame is dislocated. If there is any misalignment, loosen the connecting bolts to adjust the water stop surface in the same plane.
5. When the concrete is poured, the mortar flowing into the clearances of the gate, gate frame, inclined iron and baffle shall be cleared to prevent the solidification of the mortar from affecting the opening and closing. 6. Before and after the second phase pouring, the entire gate shall be lifted in place before and after it is found. Right and left for the right position, then adjust the bolts and fixtures firmly with the reinforcement.
