Dalian excavator can dig 2,000 cubic meters of earth and rock in one hour

After 500 hours of industrial trials, recently, the first fully hydraulic bucket wheel excavator in China was successfully tested and identified by experts from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and China Machinery Industry Federation. About 2000 cubic meters of earth and rock, after blasting treatment, it was previously required to be excavated by multiple single-groove excavators for one hour, replaced by a full-hydraulic bucket wheel excavator, and only one can be completed in the same time.
This is the world's first set of "full-hydraulic bucket wheel excavators" independently developed by Dalian companies. This DWY2000 full-hydraulic bucket wheel excavator with a length of 35 meters and a height of 10 meters is different from traditional excavators in that it not only has an "excavator", but also has a dozen "one-bucket excavator" round at the front of the operation room. Shaped to form a "bucket wheel" shaped like a gear. The back of the operating room is a conveyor belt about 20 meters long. When the machine is turned on, the “bucket wheel” flies up, and a bucket of earth and rock is drawn into the machine and transported to the conveyor belt, which continuously feeds the earth and rock into the truck parked at its end. In about 30 seconds, trucks loaded with 15 cubic meters of earth and stone are filled. It is reported that full-hydraulic bucket wheel excavators can also work in shallow water of 2 meters depth.
This fully hydraulic bucket wheel excavator was jointly designed by Dalian Heavy Industry General Equipment Co., Ltd. and Dalian University of Technology. The product has applied for 3 national utility model patents and 2 national invention patents. Dalian Heavy Industry General Equipment Co., Ltd. was a restructuring enterprise separated from Dalian Heavy Industry Lift Group Co., Ltd. in 2005.
According to the editor of China National Machinery Business Network, this new type of excavator was jointly developed by Dalian Heavy Industry General Equipment Co., Ltd. and Dalian University of Technology for 6 years. It cost more than 30 million yuan and has applied for 3 national utility model patents. Today, nine experts from the State Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the China Machinery Industry Federation have jointly identified that the equipment has reduced energy consumption by 50% compared to foreign power products, and the operation is simpler. Each of the indicators has reached the world's leading level and has a wide range of applications. Zhang Wanhe, deputy chief engineer of China Coal Science and Engineering Group's Shenyang Design and Research Institute, said: “There is a lot of space for the stripping of open-pit mines, large-scale water conservancy projects, reclamation projects, and land reclamation.”
