According to the China Automobile Association, in July this year, commercial vehicles exported 25,900 vehicles, a decrease of 5.40% from the previous month and an increase of 44.31% from the same period of last year. Foreign exchange earning amounted to US$427 million, an increase of 17.77% over the same period of last year. Among them, the number of trucks exported was 20,700, a decrease of 6.87% from the previous month and an increase of 43.59% over the same period of last year; the foreign exchange earning amount was 254 million US dollars, an increase of 14.29% over the same period of last year.
From January to July, the cumulative exports of commercial vehicles were 158,800, and the main export countries were Algeria, Vietnam, Syria, Iran, Chile, Peru, Egypt, Iraq, South Africa, and Brazil. This was an increase of 28.20% over the same period of last year; the cumulative foreign exchange earnings amounted to $2.783 billion, an increase of 23.47% over the same period of last year. Among them, the accumulated export of truck products was 129,100, an increase of 24.06% over the same period of last year; the cumulative foreign exchange earned amounted to 1.706 billion US dollars, an increase of 16.23% over the same period of last year.
