This new logistics distribution center will be located in a new plant built by Xuzhou Meritor Axle Co., Ltd. (Xuzhou Meritor), which is a joint venture subsidiary of Meritor's non-road business in China. It is expected to be officially delivered in February 2012. .
After the completion of the Xuzhou Logistics Distribution Center, it will serve as the center of Meritor's non-highway aftermarket parts operations in China, providing a variety of drive system components, chassis components and suspension components products for the Chinese non-road aftermarket.
The center will use a modern warehousing and logistics system, adopt a site management and stocking operation mode, greatly increase the stocking quantities and inventories of after-sale accessories; fully automated packaging and printing equipment, fully improve the production efficiency of accessories; use modern information management The system connects the company with factories, logistics centers, and distributors of the most advanced business through the Internet so that order information can be delivered in a timely manner, effectively increasing the speed and efficiency of order delivery.
