According to the different characteristics of the black and white tungsten minerals, different floats are formulated. The selection conditions, the process technology is mature and reliable; the adaptability to the ore is strong, and it is not affected by the fluctuation of the proportion of black and white tungsten minerals. The tungsten selection index is stable. From April 18th to July 6th, 2009, Beijing Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy conducted on-site industrial test at the 380 ore dressing test base of Shizhuyuan. Industrial test technical indicators: the recovery rate of raw ore reached 76.52%, which was 10 times higher than the original process. Percentage points. The white tungsten flotation process does not require the addition of a combination inhibitor with strong fluorite inhibition, which creates conditions for fluorite flotation; the separation of weak magnetic minerals such as cassiterite and garnet by magnetic characteristics through high gradient strong magnetic process It creates conditions for the recycling of cassiterite in non-magnetic mineral tailings. In the processing of fine-grained black and white tungsten ore and wolframite with a high proportion of wolframite, a high magnetic separation-flotation process can be used to obtain a higher black tungsten concentrate grade and recovery rate.
B. Floating-magnetic-floating preferential flotation sulphur tungsten beneficiation process
In the "Eleventh Five-Year" key project, the Guangzhou Research Institute of Nonferrous metals proposed and studied "floating - Magnetic - floating process" (see Figure 2). The process flow is: after the demineralization and concentration of the sulfide ore flotation tailings, the white tungsten flotation is first carried out, the white tungsten flotation tailings enters the strong magnetic separation (using a high gradient magnetic separator), and the strong magnetic concentrate is concentrated. Entering the black tungsten flotation, the strong magnetic tailings enter the fluorite flotation. The scheelite and the wolframite are floated under their optimal floatable conditions. In the industrial test of 39 consecutive classes from April 4 to 16, 2009, the recovery rate of raw ore tungsten was 76.82%. The actual recovery of tungsten is 10% higher than the original process (black and white tungsten mixed flotation).
Due to the difference in floatability between scheelite and wolframite, the optimum flotation conditions vary greatly. The development and successful application of high-efficiency white tungsten collector TAB-3 has good selective collection effect on iron-bearing scheelite and less dosage. The use of high-efficiency white tungsten collector TAB-3 in the white tungsten preferential flotation to effectively separate the scheelite and the wolframite is the key to the success of the process. Through the high gradient strong magnetic separation process, the magnetic properties can be used to separate weak magnetic minerals such as cassiterite and wolframite, which is beneficial to the comprehensive recovery of tin metal minerals.
