Tan Xuguang visits Weichai Boduan customers in downtown New York, USA

On September 20, 2018, Tan Xuguang once again came to the center of New York City to visit the customers of Weichai Boduan and visit the Weichai Boduan engine running on the River Ister.

Two years ago, the New York City government set up a city ferry to ease the severe traffic pressure on Manhattan and Brooklyn on both sides of the East River. Since being put into use, these "water buses" equipped with Weichai Boduan engine have been working more than 18 hours a day. Up to now, 100 Weichai Boduan engines have been galloped on the East River and are expected to increase to 200 units within one year.
