U.S. Army orders 26,000 Oshkosh defense company medium tactical truck trailers
According to the Russian "Army Guide," reported on August 1, 2011, according to orders from the US Army Tank and Motor Vehicle Lifecycle Management Command, the Oshkosh Defense Company will deliver an additional 7,000 medium tactical trucks to the U.S. Army. The five-year-old FMTV contract product recently acquired by Oshkosh Co. includes not only trucks and trailers, but also support services and training, which will continue until 2015. The total value of the contract exceeds US$904 million and is expected to be completed by 2013.
