Use of glass siliceous materials and technical and economic indicators
According to the National Mineral Reserves Committee issued the "Geological Exploration Specification for Glass Siliceous Mineral Deposits (Trial)" in 1984, the quality requirements for the production of flat glass siliceous raw materials into the kiln are shown in Table 1. The industrial requirements for the manufacture of glassware siliceous raw materials are shown in the table. 2.

With the development of flat glass process technology and the quality requirements of high quality flat glass in the glass processing industry, the Class I III grade silicon raw materials specified in Table 1 can no longer meet the requirements of the flat glass manufacturing industry. The quality requirements for silica sand ( quartz sand) and sandstone (quartz sandstone) are specified in the glass factory process design specification (JCJ04-90) (Table 3).
At present, the design unit is requesting the following requirements for the design of high-quality float glass production lines for siliceous raw materials:
Chemical composition: SiO 2 >98.5%±0.28%, Al 2 O 3 ≤0.7%±0.15%, Fe 2 O 3 ≤0.08%±0.01%
Particle size: +0.7mm0%, .0.7~0.5mm<5%
0.5 to +0.1 mm > 90%, .0.1 mm < 5%.
Moisture: <5% (±0.5%).
