The wet ammonia desulphurization method adopted by Xinghua Group is a domestic mature process, but there are few manufacturers that use this technology to produce ammonium sulfate while flue gas desulfurization. At present, there are only two under construction in Shaanxi Province, and Xinghua is the most advanced in the country with the same type of generating units, and it is the only company that has put into operation and realized environmental benefits in Shaanxi Province.

The device was put into trial operation in October 2011. At present, the emission of sulfur dioxide in Xinghua has reached 100mg/Nm3 or less, which is far below the national standard of 400mg/Nm3. Since its operation, Xinghua Group has produced a total of 1,500 tons of ammonium sulfate, and it has all sold out, generating a profit of 2.1 million yuan.

Xinghua Group adopts the ammonia process desulfurization technology for the large chemical industry four 170 tons / hour boiler flue gas desulfurization device designed a total investment of 40 million yuan, ammonium sulfate recovery process using evaporation, crystallization process. After the boiler flue gas is cleaned by dust, it enters the desulphurization tower to react with ammonia to form ammonium sulfite. The ammonium sulfite is further oxidized to produce ammonium sulfate solution, and the ammonium sulfate solution with a certain concentration is pumped to the ammonium sulfate storage tank and heated. The evaporator, evaporator, thickener, and centrifuge are used to produce ammonium sulfate, a chemical fertilizer, to complete the desulfurization process, and the purified flue gas is discharged through the chimney. The device can process 84×104Nm3 of flue gas per hour, the concentration of sulfur dioxide is 1295mg/Nm3, the removal efficiency of sulfur dioxide is more than 95%, and the annual emission of sulfur dioxide can be reduced by about 10,000 tons, and 20,000 tons of ammonium sulfate can be produced.
