Yichang Shipai's first 6S46ME-B8.2 diesel engine delivered

It is reported that Yichang Ship Chai's first 6S46ME-B8.2 new marine diesel engine has successfully completed the bench test and delivered it to users.

The 6S46ME-B8.2 marine diesel engine is manufactured for Pacific Shipping (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. 37000DTW bulk carrier. It has longer stroke, higher power output, higher reliability and fuel consumption compared with the traditional MC-C diesel engine. Lower (SFOC), lower emissions, and more environmentally friendly. The machine's alpha oiler uses electronic control to pre-lubricate before starting the main engine, precisely controlling the oil injection time and oil injection, thus reducing the oil consumption (SLOC). The electronic control also makes the machine overhaul interval longer. The diagnostic system is more comprehensive and accurate. The overall design of the 6S46ME-B8.2 marine diesel engine is lighter and more environmentally friendly.

Yishui's first 6S46ME-B8.2 marine low-speed diesel engine was successfully tested. The performance indicators of the products all met the design requirements and were well received by the shipowners, shipyards and ship inspections.
